Articulate communication and independent thinking are among the many influential lessons Tim, RC '65, and Carmen, LHC '65, Willard learned during their time in college. Their values-based education has stayed with them throughout their lives and they see it as the key to an informed and responsible society.

"Our colleges gave us the educations and experiences needed for our futures," said Carmen, a retired nurse. "The more knowledge you have, the more freedom and power you have."

Regis provides this and more by preparing thoughtful, sensitive and humane leaders in service of others, says Tim. He learned the importance of giving back after working in fundraising and development for 38 years. To him, giving back to education is a way of investing in the next generation and providing a values-based learning environment for today's students.

Together, Carmen and Tim want to perpetuate the Jesuit model of education and give men and women in service of others the opportunity to change the world. By making a gift through a bequest in their wills, they are inspiring future generations to make a difference in the world.

"The mission of service means thinking beyond myself, reaching out and giving back when possible," said Tim. He and his wife look at the blessings in their lives and see it as their obligation to give back to their colleges, their community and the world they live in.
