Phil and Teri Gamble encountered Regis through their own personal journeys and are committed to the future success of the University. Looking to modernize his professional skills, Phil, a systems engineer at a global aerospace and defense company, completed his Masters of Science in Computer Information Technology in 2004 after more than 20 years in information technology, while Teri, an executive assistant at a private equity firm in downtown Denver, fulfilled a personal accomplishment and professional goal by finishing her undergraduate degree in business administration in 2006. Having received the benefits of a Regis education, as alumni, they believe they have a continuing responsibility to give back to their university.

"Theresa and I realized that much of our personal and professional success in life was due to our Regis educations," Phil said. "We knew then that, in addition to giving annually at the President's Council level, we needed to include Regis in our estate plans as a way of giving back to the University."

Regis offers a unique approach to education that gave Phil the confidence to accept new challenges and Teri the perseverance to successfully handle demanding projects at work. Their Regis education also helped them to be more self-aware and dedicated to serving the greater community.

"For us, the mission of service to others means that we do not live our lives in isolation and have an obligation to consider a larger community in our decisions and actions," Teri said.

By creating an endowed memorial scholarship with a bequest in their will, they look to enable the university to provide financial assistance to students who otherwise cannot afford to attend. In turn, they hope students will someday decide to do the same for others.
